SYNOPSIS

 

'I Come From a Beautiful Place' 

describes the lives of five refugees in Lebanon. One of them, Mohammad from Darfur, discovers that his three brothers and three of his sisters have been murdered, while his mother is dying.

 

He decides to flee the conflict in Sudan and make his way to Lebanon, where he becomes one of the 9,000 non-Palestinian refugees and asylum seekers being cared for by UNHCR.

 

'I Come From a Beautiful Place' follows the plight of those refugees in their struggle to survive, against the odds.
